2008 Dodge Magnum R/T Photo By Chrysler LLC The restyled 2008 Dodge Magnum R/T continues the boldly-styled theme of American muscle, with its unique profile, exceptional versatility, HEMI power, fuel-saving cylinder deactivation and rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive performance.

The 2008 Dodge magnum includes advanced technologies, flexible and functional cargo space and integrated safety and security features combine to provide a powerful, capable family vehicle with the ride and handling of a sports car.

A package unlike any other in the marketplace, the 2008 Dodge Magnum R/T is an evolution of the bold, powerful and street-smart philosophy of Dodge. The 2008 Dodge Magnum R/T is equipped with a modern 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine featuring MDS. MDS seamlessly alternates between four-cylinder mode when less power is needed and V-8 mode when more power is demanded, increasing fuel economy as much as 20 percent without sacrificing vehicle performance. Drivers may be informed when four-cylinder mode is active by selecting the new fuel-economy display available through the optional Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). The 5-7-liter HEMI V-8 engine provides 340 horsepower @ 5000 rpm and 390 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4000 rpm and offers an EPA fuel economy rating of 17/25 (city/hwy).

 
2008 Dodge Magnum R/T (Rear-wheel drive)
Standard Features: In addition to the standard features on the Dodge Magnum SE and SXT rear-wheel-drive models, the Dodge Magnum R/T rear-wheel-drive model adds/replaces the following:

• 18-inch machined aluminum wheels
• 19-gallon fuel tank
• 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine — 340 horsepower (254 kW) and 390 lb.-ft. (525 N•m) of torque
• Multi-displacement System (MDS) — improving fuel economy as much as 20 percent
• Five-speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick
• Auto-dimming rearview mirror
• Automatic headlamps
• Boston Acoustics six-speaker 276-watt DSP Amp speaker system
• Bright center stack bezel
• Dual exhaust with bright tips
• Dual-zone automatic temperature control
• Express up/down power front windows
• Leather-trimmed, heated front seats
• Leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob
• Power eight-way passenger seat
• Touring suspension with 225/60R18 all-season touring tires
• Tuned dampers and performance exhaust
 
2008 Dodge Magnum R/T (All-wheel drive)
In addition to the standard features on the Dodge Magnum R/T rear-wheel-drive model, the Dodge Magnum R/T all-wheel-drive model adds/replaces the following:

• Front differential and transfer case
• Unique 18-inch machined aluminum wheels
